Today isn't exactly scripture, however, it is something worth thinking about.
You can't truly love someone unless you respect them.
How many times have we shown disrespect to our loved ones in the form of either words or actions? How many times have we cut down our spouse to our friends? Discussing a problem with a friend is different from cutting down/disrespecting someone. "My husband doesn't do things right." "My wife is the worst housekeeper." These are the types of things that are disrespectful.
Before opening up and saying something about someone you say you love, consider if you would say it if they were standing right there with you.
