Warm Blanket Snuggles

With the coolness creeping up on us outside, I've been doing a bit of spoiling of the kids inside.  While the children are going potty and getting themselves ready for nap time, I'm tossing their nap blankets into the dryer for a couple of minutes.  Once they are laid down and ready, I snuggle them in with their very own nice toasty warm blanket.

Sometimes the smallest act of kindness can bring joy to another.  The children love the warm snuggly blanket, I love the smiles it brings to them.

French Vanilla Coffee Creamer

I've been having such a fun time on Pinterest finding all sorts of interesting recipes. The following is for a homemade coffee creamer and literally only takes a few minutes to make. The recipe gives the choice of either vanilla extract or vanilla coffee syrup, I used the syrup and it is so delicious.

Ingredients:
 14oz sweetened condensed milk
14oz milk (whole, lowfat, or skim – doesn’t matter)
2 teaspoons vanilla extract OR Vanilla Coffee Syrup for a stronger flavor
a mason jar (quart is perfect)

Instructions:
Pour all of the ingredients into your mason jar. Screw the lid on tightly, and shake vigorously for a few minutes until well combined. (This would be a perfect opportunity to hand it to your big strong husband and ohhh and ahhh over his big strong muscles as he does all the shaking and mixing)

To Make it creamier, substitute the milk for heavy cream

Now all you need to do is make a cup of coffee, add your creamer, grab a book and snuggle up in your chair for a time of delicious relaxation.
